Discover the world of BUNCHY.

Unique oversized scrunchie with minimal environmental footprint. Our one-of-a-kind circular collection features bushy hair pieces, made from deadstock of Recycled Polyester (rPET) material, developed and manufactured in Europe.

Derived from recycled plastic bottles, recycled polyester, commonly referred to as rPet, provides an effective means of diverting plastic away from landfills. The manufacturing process of recycled polyester utilizes significantly fewer resources compared to the production of new fibers, resulting in lower CO2 emissions.

CIRCULARITY

Our recycled polyester fabric is fully circular and enables the closed cycle through our partners Circular System. As soon as this product wears out, it’s being returned for recycling and converted back to the original fibers without any loss of quality.

TRANSPARENCY

This product is manufactured in the Czech Republic by our partner NIL Textile. The recycled material is produced in Czech Republic by taking exisiting materials, like plastic bottles & packaging, breaking them down into tiny pieces, and reforming them into yarn which in turn creates a recycled, sustainable fabric alternative. The rPET fabric offers the perfect combination of sustainability and practicality.

A tribute to

Jane Austen

Jane Austen, born on December 16, 1775, in Steventon, England, was a renowned English novelist known for her romantic fiction. Despite living in the early 19th century, Austen's timeless tales of love, wit, and social commentary continue to captivate readers worldwide. Her keen observations of society and sharp sense of humor permeated her works, offering a nuanced portrayal of the societal norms and relationships of her time.

In 1811, Austen published her first novel, "Sense and Sensibility," followed by "Pride and Prejudice" in 1813, solidifying her literary legacy. Her stories, often centered around the complexities of love and marriage, explored the social structures and expectations that shaped the lives of her characters.

Austen's enduring appeal lies in her ability to infuse her narratives with wit, irony, and a keen understanding of human nature. Despite her relatively short life, she left an indelible mark on the literary world, and her works continue to be celebrated for their insight into the intricacies of the heart and the enduring power of love.
